As a seasoned dance instructor, I specialize in Latin, Ballroom, and Club dance styles. My approach to teaching is tailored to your preferred learning style, whether you are visual, kinesthetic, auditory, or a combination. My dance journey started at the age of nine in the Pacific Northwest and progressed to becoming an International Ballroom 10-Dance DanceSport competitor. At 21, I pivoted my focus from the performance/competitive world to part-time instruction in private and franchise studios across Seattle, Orange County, and Brooklyn, all while pursuing a career in healthcare and public health.

Maria was the choreographer for my initial dance at my wedding event. My partner and I had no expertise in formal dancing, but Maria was very compassionate about our situation. She was very accommodating, cheerful, and supportive throughout the process. She made video recordings of us dancing to identify our mistakes and correct them, and if we found any movement challenging, she would modify it to suit us. I enthusiastically endorse Maria!!!
