Although I refrained from using Makita for property management, deciding to handle it on my own during the initial year because I have sufficient time, I did, however, conduct interviews with several property management firms. Among them, this one stood out to me, as it provided the most value. Additionally, Patrick was very prompt and conducted himself in a professional way, which leads me to believe that he would be an excellent choice for those who cannot manage the property themselves.

Choosing Makita Home Management was the smartest move I made in property management. After interviewing several other managers who lacked knowledge of Dunedin's property market and practical experience in tenant issues and repairs, I felt like they were just guessing rental rates. Patrick Tillman, however, was different. He was honest, knowledgeable, and experienced. I have been working with another rental management company on the east coast for over a decade, but I am positive that I will stick with Makita Home Management.
