Description:

Offering both in-person and virtual lessons, I am a piano teacher based in Winter Garden, Florida, with a passion for making the learning process engaging and fun. With a MM degree in Piano Performance from Yale University, I have been teaching for 17 years, and while I enjoy playing concerts and collaborating with other musicians, my focus lies in helping my students develop their talent.

Specializing in Zoom lessons for the past two years, I offer structured and tailored lessons to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. Throughout the week, students are encouraged to text me with any questions or send recordings to receive answers within 24 hours. Additionally, high quality recordings are provided to complement weekly lesson tasks.

As a student-oriented teacher, I work closely with parents to encourage healthy practicing habits and provide a positive and dynamic virtual learning experience.

Elena is absolutely amazing! It has been an incredible journey to have music lessons that are both educational and engaging. Our sessions are held virtually through Zoom and my son was able to master a piano piece within a month! I only wish I had the same opportunity growing up. We are extremely appreciative to have a wonderful piano instructor like Elena.

As both a teacher and a person, Elena is exceptional. Following my request for lessons, she responded promptly and took the time to patiently listen to what kind of assistance I required. We engaged in in-depth discussions to assess whether she could assist me in relearning how to play, considering my four-decade hiatus. Ms. Elena has been an absolute blessing to my daughter and me as her piano teacher over the past eight years. She is truly amazing. My daughter has flourished under her tutelage and exceeded my expectations in skill level. What sets Ms. Elena apart is her ability to provide a balanced mix of praise and constructive criticism, which has led to a significant boost in my daughter's self-esteem. We wouldn't trade her for anything! Although I was hesitant to switch to Zoom lessons due to COVID-19, my daughter actually prefers them to in-person instruction. There aren't enough positive words to describe Ms. Elena's teaching skills!

Elena has been teaching my daughter for years, and she has become extremely fond of her. Elena's passion for piano is evident in her teaching, and she is adept at imparting it to her students. The lessons are straightforward and comprehensible, but also present enough of a challenge to motivate my daughter to surpass her limits and advance considerably. We adore Elena and wouldn't consider having any other piano teacher!
