Enroll in Magnus Carlsen's Academy and learn how to play chess like a world champion! Our Academy has successfully taught over 100,000 elementary and middle school students to play chess in the last 15+ years, with many of our beginners just looking to have some fun by learning new skills.

Join our online chess Academy and socialize with kids from all over the country aged between 5-14 years coming from 25+ states. Each student is placed in a small group class with a maximum of 8 students at their specific chess level, and there are many class time options available to match your schedule. As students progress, they are moved up to a higher level.

Our small group lessons have excellent and experienced chess coaches who will provide you with a 25-minute interactive lesson followed by a 30-minute online game practice with other students to apply the newly learned skills.

Magnus Chess Academy is an exceptional program for children who want to learn chess. The program offers inclusive weekly virtual lessons in small groups, bonus lessons, and virtual tournaments. Kids can participate and play with other children of similar skill levels, anytime and anywhere. We're big fans of the program. Our son began learning chess during the pandemic and in less than two years, he was competing with the highest-ranking kids his age. The program was a lifesaver during school shutdowns and helped keep our son engaged and occupied. He continues to enjoy playing chess and challenging himself.

Since Kindergarten, my child has been attending the Magnus Chess Academy where the awe-inspiring coaches have taught my child the basic rules and allowed them to participate in statewide competition.
