Upon purchasing our first home, we made the decision to renovate it entirely before settling in. Although we completed around 90% of the project on our own, we recognized the need for a professional when it came to painting. After consulting with trusted individuals who had an eye for detail, we were left with two companies. Upon receiving quotes from both, we were pleased to select Lumos Paints due to AJ's lower cost and favorable demeanor. While we were confident in both companies' abilities to provide quality results, we ultimately valued the trust we felt with AJ, knowing he was someone we could rely on to work in our home, even when we weren't present. Throughout the painting process, which lasted several days, we became increasingly convinced we had made the right choice. AJ was highly responsive, always picking up the phone or promptly returning our calls. He consistently maintained a clean workspace, even when returning the next day. These actions helped us to feel respected in our own home. Towards the end of the project, we were surprised and delighted to come home and find AJ painting rooms not included in our budget. Although we alerted him to this fact, his response demonstrated a clear dedication to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Lumos Paints to others seeking trustworthy and reliable contractors.
