Hi! Thank you for stopping by my page. With over 10 years of music teaching experience, I have found that teaching and playing music are my greatest passions and life's calling. In order to enhance the learning experience for those interested in guitar lessons, I have partnered with another exceptional instructor. Together, we are committed to helping you achieve your music goals.

My unique teaching approach and vast experience at the college level and with students of different ages and skill levels distinguish me as an instructor. My former and current students can attest to my ability to convey information in a pertinent, comprehensible, and practical manner. It's essential to understand the "why" behind music, and I strive to help my students appreciate and apply concepts to elevate their musical abilities. As an educator, I recognize various learning styles and adjust my methodology to suit each individual student's needs.

If you're considering guitar lessons, Dan comes highly recommended! He's a true professional who's organized, personable, and attentive, and he puts a lot of effort into planning his lessons. What I appreciate most is how he tailors each assignment to different learning styles, which has helped me absorb the content more easily. The materials he covers feel natural yet challenging, which keeps me motivated to learn. I've tried to learn the guitar several times in the past, but I always gave up without a teacher to guide me. That's why I was careful in my search and chose Dan, knowing that he'd push me to improve. After just four lessons, I've already made progress in areas I've struggled with for years, such as identifying fretboard notes, transitioning between chords, and timing. Dan even records each lesson and provides links so that I can review my playing and see where I need to improve. It's been a pleasure learning from Dan, and I'm excited to continue!

Since February, I have been taking acoustic guitar lessons with Dan. To describe this guy properly, I would need more space. Whether it's teaching theory or a riff, he approaches guitar lessons with 100% patience. Despite being 36 and having played the trumpet, I am a complete beginner on guitar and I often wonder how Dan can remain so patient. His concern for his students is admirable and evident in his teaching style. I eagerly anticipate my lessons every week and can hardly believe how quickly an hour with Dan flies by. His clear and precise instruction during our Zoom calls helps to ensure that there is no lagging, which proves most beneficial to my learning experience. To further aid my practice, Dan records our sessions and emails them to me for reference. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend Dan as a guitar teacher.

My experience with Dan during our lesson was exceptional. I opted to work with Dan due to his immense passion and sincere desire to help and teach individuals. Throughout our lesson, his communication remained consistent and concise, making it effortless to grasp the concepts. Dan is an exceptional individual. During my initial lesson, I surprisingly did not play the guitar as it resembled a Karate Kid-style training regime. Instead, he provided an in-depth understanding of my amplifier and introduced fundamentals of music theory to assist in navigating the fretboard.
