Michael Lortan, a USGTF Golf Teaching Professional, considers teaching a passion before an occupation. He is dedicated to enhancing the performance of beginners, intermediates, and skilled golfers by offering a wide range of lesson options from tee to green. All lessons are held at Coyote Ridge Golf Club in Carrollton.
Golf is widely acknowledged as a challenging game that may become more problematic with complex instructions and superficial fixes. According to Michael's personal experience, the best teachers suggest fundamental changes in the game.
The average golfer's aspiration is to achieve greater consistency and make their game more manageable and repeatable. This would allow them to play with more enjoyment.
Michael's objective is to work with the student's unique swing and apply simple address and swing fundamentals that promote increased consistency and enjoyment. With small adjustments that identify the root of the problem, there can be noticeable improvement.
For those who are new to golf, basic skills and etiquette can be rapidly developed by covering a simple core of fundamentals and a logical progression through required movements. This establishes a platform for beginners to progress to the course and group play.
