Greetings! My name is Caroline Phillips, and I am one of the co-owners of LingualMuse, where I serve as the Head Teacher on our talented Language Team. I am fluent in three languages - German, French, and English - and have worked on two continents while residing in Germany, Britain, Belgium, and the United States.
Throughout my career, I have focused on language education and consistently improve my teaching techniques as I believe learning is an ongoing journey. We work with students with various ages and proficiency levels from beginners to advanced.
Previously, I had the privilege of working for the Foreign Service Institute as part of the State Department in Washington, D.C. There, I prepared US delegates for language assignments and trained them in German and French. In a nine-month period, I went from beginner to fluency and passed their government language examinations. Teaching dedicated and hardworking students is something I thoroughly enjoy, and I firmly believe that maintaining good language skills can improve your personal life and career opportunities.
My aim is to help our students achieve success by encouraging and challenging them to bring their best selves to the classroom. At LingualMuse, we have been in business for four years, and we provide a variety of services for our clients, including private, partner, semi-private, and immersion classes. This company is absolutely amazing! My daughter speaks Mandarin fluently, but when her grandparents moved back to Taiwan, they lost touch. Fortunately, Ms. Virginia Cutchin has been working with my daughter for some time now, and the progress she has made is truly remarkable. My son had his initial session which went fairly well. The coordinator, Joe, and my son's tutor, Caroline, were both professional and amicable. Regrettably, due to my son's indecisiveness, I am unable to continue with his lessons right now. Nonetheless, if circumstances change, I will certainly avail the services of this company again!
