In 2006, Amy Diamond founded Lil' Guppies in Los Angeles, CA as the owner and lead instructor. Now, Lil' Guppies extends its services to Sarasota and Tampa, FL. We provide private, semi-private, small group, and Parent & me lessons for both Los Angeles, Sarasota, Tampa, and its surrounding areas. Our lessons are available to children as young as 4 months old along with adult lessons for those who want to improve their swimming skills or start from scratch. Our students experience water therapy and increase their strength and self-confidence, in addition to learning water safety and swimming skills. We prioritize water safety and drowning prevention and offer lifeguarding services for events and parties, as well as training for CPR & First Aid instructors, babysitters, and lifeguards.

Amidst the pandemic, I scouted for a skilled swimming instructor capable of coaching my five-year-old son at home. Despite leaving requests with various programs around town, none of them responded. A friend suggested Lil Guppies swim school and upon contacting the owner, Amy, she was helpful and professional. The following day, Swim Instructor Coach Brandon arrived at my doorstep and impressed us with his teach style. He nurtured our son's swimming skills with patience, ease and just the right amount of encouragement. What's more, our child had a fun time in the pool and even began swimming and putting his face in the water on the very first day! It's been an amazing experience and we highly recommend Lil Guppies swim school to all parents seeking a perfect swim instructor for their child. Coach Brandon did a great job of inculcating healthy swimming habits in our son, who now loves swimming and looks up to his coach for guidance.
