Frank and Michael, the construction workers, promptly contacted me and visited my home to assess the issue. With their help, we formulated a plan to resolve the problem quickly, given my limited time. Michael even worked on a Saturday to ensure completion, and I am appreciative of his dedication and craftsmanship. I plan to take on the task of staining the fireplace myself.
