Leonardo was hired to install LVT flooring in our basement. Initially, his quote was competitive and he appeared to be pleasant to work with. However, I soon noticed his unusual behavior towards payments. Although his contract specified payment conditions, he would request more money after working for a day and argue about it. Furthermore, his quote included the cost of pouring concrete and leveling, but after some grinding, he said it wasn't necessary, resulting in us being charged $1000 for half a day's work. Additionally, instead of leaving the LVT flooring free standing as it should be, they caulked each plank to the floor, negating the manufacturer's warranty. Despite the good job they performed on the baseboards, Leonardo would overcharge for any additional work requested. When we needed 2 sq inches of extra LVT flooring due to moving bedroom door frames, he demanded $300 for his glue work. Overall, I would recommend extreme caution when hiring him and recommend discussing the job's details and pricing thoroughly.
