After consulting with my bank, I discovered that the IRS had seized over $4500 from my account to cover the taxes I had owed. As an employee of a medium-sized company, I believed my taxes were being taken out of my salary, but that was not the case. I ended up owing the government an additional $10,000 for the past three years of taxes. The IRS also had an order to garnish my wages, which would have had a significant impact on my family's finances. A coworker who had been in a similar situation recommended Legacy Tax Resolution. They gathered all my salary records and negotiated an installment plan with the IRS, which would allow me to pay off my debt over a year. Although it was inconvenient, it was a manageable solution.

I would not recommend this company. The intake person was difficult to understand and came across as rude and uninformed. She lacked knowledge of the programs listed and was unable to connect me to the person I requested. Additionally, she did not provide me with the information I asked for and did not seem to understand the reason for my call. After I provided my information, she informed me that they would not be moving forward with me and could not help at this time. This was a waste of my time and I do not plan on contacting them for any future solutions.
