After 14+ years of private lessons, I arrived at Fred's studio missing the structure that came with regular piano lessons. Despite my experience, I longed for the motivation and encouragement that a weekly lesson brings. Thankfully, Fred has reignited my passion for the instrument by providing the structure I craved. His teaching techniques help reduce any discomfort that could arise from playing and build up your endurance over time, ensuring you're injury-free. Using his teachings, you'll learn to use your entire body as opposed to just your fingers. Fred covers a variety of techniques such as single and double rotation, to mention a few. Fred is an ardent instructor who deeply appreciates his students' success. He charges only $30 for every lesson, which is remarkable, considering his level of expertise. He also goes the extra mile to teach at his students' homes, enabling them to learn on their personal pianos. You would be hard-pressed to find a more patient, skilled, and committed piano instructor than Fred Song!

Although I had not taken piano lessons for quite a while, Fred's wonderful teaching skills made me feel at ease and quickly get back into the groove. He has an excellent ability to instruct at any level of expertise and incorporates music theory into his lessons, providing an understanding of the inner workings of music in addition to learning how to play.
