Becoming a Humanist Celebrant in 2017 was a pivotal moment for me. I felt a strong desire to contribute to society by improving people's lives. As a Humanist Celebrant, I have the privilege of working with couples and family members to create personalized ceremonies. These ceremonies can include weddings, memorial services, naming ceremonies, or renaming ceremonies for those who want to express their gender identity more accurately.
Crafting a ceremony for a couple is a particular passion of mine. I enjoy learning about their journey together and creating a ceremony that reflects their unique love story. I believe everyone deserves to celebrate their love, regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity. That's why I'm committed to working with couples from all walks of life.
My name is Mark, and I live in Exton, Pennsylvania, with my partner and two dogs. I grew up in Colorado and served as an Armor Officer in Germany during the Cold War. After earning a Master's in Computer Science, I worked as an IT consultant for over two decades before becoming a Humanist Celebrant. My goal is to promote human flourishing and make a positive impact on the world, one ceremony at a time.
