Initially, we recruited Gil to mend the deck, and they ensured that it was accomplished to our contentment. Subsequently, we enlisted their services to erect a patio, which was stunningly accomplished. I strongly endorse them.

The initial encounter with Gil was pleasant, and he exhibited great manners. However, he failed to furnish us with an estimate or progress report within the agreed-upon timeframe. It is not my place to evaluate his work, but I can say that he kept us waiting for a response on a few occasions and eventually informed us that they were not available. Despite this, I wish Gil and Lakeview the best.

We collaborated with him to acquire the permit, covered the expenses for the structural engineer and architect, and paid the city's permit fees. However, following the issuance of the permit, he ceased answering our calls and scheduling our work. Additionally, the expenses for the project nearly doubled, and items like a new furnace and electric panel, which were unnecessary according to the original quote, were added. Our furnace can accommodate twice the size of our home's current square footage, and our electrical panel has more than enough space. As a result, I have wasted thousands of dollars on architectural plans and permits that are now useless.

For a major backyard undertaking involving the demolition of a substantial, heavy-duty deck and replacement with new pavers (aligned with a grass lawn), construction and installation of composite stairs, installation of new backyard lighting, and more, I engaged Lakeview Construction. They proved excellent to work with. Important factors that particularly impressed me included the first-class quality of their workmanship, their professionalism, the timely execution of the project (taking roughly two weeks from initial appraisal through to completion), their competitive pricing, and the fact that their final invoice matched their initial estimate. Additionally, the team generously rectified a range of smaller, persistent issues around my home without charge.
