Greetings!
[COVID-19 UPDATE]
We are prioritizing safety during these times by implementing additional precautions to safeguard our clients and staff. All of our art installers have already been fully vaccinated.
We conduct installations with utmost care, including sterilization, sanitation, personal barriers, and physical distancing. Our clients will receive specific information related to safety measures in their briefing. We take the pandemic seriously and remain dedicated to providing high-quality care for our clients, their artworks, and their spaces.

My name is Colette von, and I am the owner and founder of LA UP Art Installation & Curation. It would be a pleasure to connect with you to better understand your project and determine whether we could be an ideal match!
I am a hands-on, professional, reliable curator and installation specialist with expertise in safety-conscious Earthquake installation. I conduct quality checks on existing hardware and wiring and replace any damaged or corroded materials to prevent damage and ensure safety. As an artist myself, I understand the importance of the personal and financial relationships our clients have with their pieces, and I am committed to upholding high standards for art safety and space management.
FOR ART PREPARATION, HANDLING, CURATION, HANGING, & INSTALLATION:
With more than nine years of experience handling, installing, curating, and producing art, I provide installation services for offices, corporate clients, museums, galleries, and private residences, including those with special installation requirements that do not damage walls. I curate and install monthly exhibitions in numerous locations throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. In addition, I offer curation and installation services for clients in their homes, whether as new occupants in their space, to suggest and install new acquisitions, or to renovate existing collections. I represent numerous artists and can suggest work that matches their clients' unique style and space design. If my artists fail to fit into space, I assist my clients in finding artwork that complements their room's ambiance.
I have experience in a wide range of installation methods, including ceilings, concrete, wood, brick, fabric, steel, drywall, and lath/plaster, among others. I have developed numerous non-damaging installation methods and can provide consultation and installation for wall-safe installations, which I frequently utilize in Los Angeles homes.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
As the HAUS Director and Curator at ONE ONE SIX TWO Gallery in Echo Park, I curated and installed every exhibit and conducted 40+ exhibitions and 25+ pop-up shows, allowing me to showcase over 800 individual artists (local to international) in under two years.
I have hung thousands of pieces, ranging from loose papers, canvases, and frames to wooden panels, tapestries, mirrors, rugs, skateboards, neon signs, sculptures, shelving, projectors, records, and beyond. I have designed and installed brackets, shelving, and assembled several items of furniture. I have even installed a disassembled wooden headboard weighing over 85lbs. onto drywall, and hung a motorcycle using two support beams and chain cables for an installation.
I adore imaginative displays, so not only can I install your artwork, but I can also advise you on the most efficient manner to infuse your personality and aesthetic into the process. As a professional art handler, I have installed any object from technical grid frames to glass paintings that float freely in a 20-foot window.
I am highly adept and capable of completing tasks both large and small. So, how can I be of assistance?
