La Posada: Spanish Classes/English classes/ transl

With over 17 years of experience as a Spanish and English teacher, originally hailing from Argentina, I have had the chance to teach in various countries, including Mexico and many others throughout Latin America. I strongly believe that it is crucial to learn Spanish from a native speaker. Although I have been living in the United States for quite some time, English is actually my second language. I hold certification as a Spanish and English tutor, and my primary goal is to provide my learners with the highest standard of language education possible. I strive to create a culturally rich and supportive environment that fosters enjoyment and learning.

During the class, the majority of the instruction will be given in Spanish. This will help you to learn by listening and speaking instead of relying on translation. I will explain more challenging concepts in English. I believe that practicing speaking and conversing in Spanish is essential to language learning, and I will provide you with sufficient opportunities to practice. Ultimately, my objective is to help you immerse yourself in the language, so that you can eventually develop the ability to think and communicate in Spanish.

My students range in age from 8-year-old beginners to corporate managers and executives who need to travel to Spanish-speaking countries, as well as government employees with similar requirements. I have successfully taught many adults to speak functional, conversational Spanish. I also work with business executives as an interpreter. I offer classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, as well as corporate lessons. I also customize my classes based on the goals of my students. My instruction includes accent correction, pronunciation, fluidity, slang, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, translation, and interpretation. I adapt my instruction to the pace that suits my students' needs, ensuring that they are comfortable and engaged throughout the lesson.

I am available to teach both in-person and online, and I am very flexible with scheduling. We can meet at your preferred location, even a coffee shop, or we can arrange remote lessons. My aim is to help you build linguistic and cultural bridges between the United States and Spanish-speaking countries. Whether you are planning a pleasure or business trip to Latin America or Spain, I will ensure that you feel confident and comfortable communicating in Spanish.
