Our team comprises a husband, Ryan, and wife, Leah, who share a common ardor for crafting awe-inspiring outdoor waterscapes. Ryan is a Certified Aquascape Pond Contractor who boasts several years of water feature experience. His passion for pond building began in his childhood when he accompanied his Uncle to Aquascape Pond building workshops and real pond projects. Over the years, Ryan has built both small and large ponds, and his largest undertaking was constructing his Uncle's 32,000 Gallon Pond located at Paradise Park in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.

After serving in the Marine Corps and returning from Afghanistan, Ryan devoted himself to establishing Kornelsen Custom Ponds at Paradise Park in 2014. On the other hand, Leah is a Graphic Designer with a keen eye for designing splendid outdoor space. When you choose Kornelsen Custom Ponds, you are assured of a seamless team experience.
