However, they only briefly entered before quoting me a price of $4,000, despite my specific request for batting insulation, which they do not offer. I inquired about the cost of insulating just one wall in the cold area of the house, which they estimated at $2,000. After seeking a second opinion from a friend who entered the crawl space, I discovered the issue was not an insulation problem, but rather that three heating ducts had fallen and the return air housing was rusted out. Koala, the company I contacted because of their local and family-owned status, did not investigate the root of the problem and seemed solely focused on profit. I would not recommend them and advise seeking multiple quotes when considering contractors.
