For more than two decades, I have cared for various animals such as dogs, small pets, and livestock along the West Coast. My journey started at 14 years old when I worked as an assistant vet tech at a small-scale animal hospital. From California to British Columbia, I ventured on farms to learn and worked in and outside animal welfare jobs. In the early 2000s, Kite Hill Canines was in operation in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing services such as dog walking, beach adventures, and house sitting. In recent years, I have been volunteering and working with herding dog rescue while living and traveling around the Pacific Northwest with my cattle dogs, Koda and Percy.

I recently had a wonderful experience with Kite Hill Canines who looked after my pets and house during my vacation. I would definitely seek out Marie's services again as she provided regular updates and even sent me pictures to keep me in the loop while I was away.

Around fifteen years ago, I first crossed paths with Marie when she owned her very own dog-walking business in San Francisco. Since then, we've been working hand-in-hand without a break! She's truly a remarkable presence in my life and a real help in every way possible.
The only downside to our association is her plan to relocate to the Pac Northwest! However, in spite of that, Marie continues to care for our animals even while residing on the Mendocino Coast. Knowing that our pets are in her trustworthy hands while we're away gives us great relief; a sentiment which is simply invaluable.
Marie is an exceptional animal lover, always prioritizing your pet's well-being above everything else. Not only that, she is an ace at keeping things in order and pays attention to even the smallest of details. Over the years, she has also helped us with other household matters. She is gentle, knowledgeable, and always maintains a professional demeanor. Her punctuality and swift communication skills are also to be commended.
For us, entrusting someone with the care of our home and pets is of the utmost importance, and in Marie, we have found the most reliable and genuine person. It's safe to say that Marie is the best at what she does, and I highly recommend her services to everyone!
