The initial consultation yielded good communication. However, the first Will draft was not received until 2 months later, followed by another month for P.O.A. drafts. I was charged for every word change, phone call, email, and text, even for just asking a question. Additionally, I had to pay for travel to another office to have paperwork notarized due to unavailability at their location. The total cost for a simple Will, basic health P.O.A, and property P.O.A. came to around $1700. Upon further reflection, I realized that the excessive cost may have been due to the Law firm's specialty in Family and Divorce cases.
