While my experience might be an anomaly, it was still not favorable. Ryan was prompt and professional when I requested an estimate, appearing knowledgeable about the job at hand. However, the quoted price for installing kitchen door hinges and drawer slides was surprisingly high, with Ryan citing recent price increases. The estimated cost was over $5,000, despite the materials costing no more than $1,000 (closer to $650 when I researched it). It wouldn't even take a full day's work to complete. I asked for a breakdown of the price, but Ryan never responded. While he seemed like a decent person, the lack of transparency about pricing left me disappointed. Perhaps it's a sign of the current market for services. After writing a review on the matter, Ryan did eventually respond, but only under duress. I still believe that the pricing was unreasonable, and that his unwillingness to provide a cost breakdown was unfair. I understand that other reviews sing his praises and his work is likely of good quality, but this was just my overall experience.
