I discovered my passion for teaching while coaching cheerleading at a local camp where parents praised my abilities with children and suggested I pursue teaching. Since then, I've earned an Associates Degree in Social Science and a Bachelors in Education and Special Education from Western Governors University, along with certifications in TESOL, CPR & First Aid. Over the past 6 years, I've worked with students ranging from Pre-K to 6th grade in Prince William County and Fairfax County Public Schools, tutoring in reading, math, science, and social studies. Currently, I am a Children's Behavior Therapist and run an online preschool for ages 3-5 years old. My approach to teaching involves personalized sessions that cater to each child's unique learning style and needs, incorporating fun games and resources to keep learning engaging and enjoyable!
