Greetings, I'm Scott Kesler. I recently joined the team at CrackerJack in order to expand my business further. Over the years, I have taught numerous students with a majority of them being taught in-person, but presently, I am teaching most of them virtually. I have been playing the guitar since the tender age of eight and music has always been my passion. Music has been an integral part of my upbringing, right from my adolescent years performing in talent shows and rock bands to being involved in country, pop, and worship music in the present. I am a full-time self-employed musician and teach private lessons in acoustic guitar, four-string electric bass guitar, and Uke. I specialize in different types of music styles that include country, folk, rock, gospel, and contemporary Christian. I also teach music theory, which is based on the Fretboard Logic (CAGED) system. If you're a budding songwriter and musician, I can guide you in understanding and implementing music patterns and progressions so that you can express your message through your songs. Besides, I play professionally at weddings, family events, and Christmas celebrations where I provide the sound equipment and DJ services as well. Although I enjoy playing guitar professionally, my primary focus is on teaching and coaching my guitar students. I have a practical and personalized approach to teaching based on my over 50 years of experience. I cater to students from different age groups ranging anywhere between 8 and 65 years old. Experience is not a necessity to get started, everyone learns differently and therefore, each student is taught differently. Nothing gives me more joy than seeing my students grow in their skills and experiencing the thrill of playing the guitar, something I have been doing for all these years!

As a guitar instructor, Scott is both amicable and skilled. He ensures that you grasp each lesson thoroughly before progressing to the next one. Additionally, he supplies exercises to practice in between sessions. His fervor for the guitar is contagious, which greatly contributes to his effectiveness as an instructor. Punctuality is another one of his virtues. I am convinced that Scott is the ideal instructor, and I cannot wait to continue my journey to becoming an accomplished guitar player with him!

Scott is an extremely friendly and amicable individual. He consistently enquires about my emotional state regarding the subject matter, and tailors his lessons to incorporate my key concerns (all while interweaving his expertise). I have no negative remarks to make about him or his pedagogy!

Since I was young, I've had the privilege to work with Mr. Kesler in-person and online, and without hesitation, I would suggest his guitar lessons to novices and seasoned players alike. Mr. Kesler caters to his students' desired learning outcomes while coupling that with a foundation in theory and fundamentals. Having been under his tutelage for several years, I give my full endorsement to anyone in need of a guitar instructor who is both adaptable and diligent in advancing progress. In particular, Mr. Kesler excels in his patience and flexibility, extending his services to guitarists of all levels, and offering both acoustic and bass guitar lessons. Ultimately, I'm confident that Kesler Guitar will enrich your playing skills.

Scott is an incredible instructor and "coach," who has facilitated my transition from a beginner player to an original music composer. My intention was to find a teacher to guide me in realizing my long-time aspiration of playing and singing a piece on the guitar. However, in the process, I unexpectedly found myself composing multiple songs. Scott has been an invaluable mentor, consistently introducing me to new techniques and chord sequences to incorporate into my music. He has been incredibly accommodating, making adjustments to our lesson plan to suit my schedule, and even provides me with written lesson plans in advance of each session. As a result, I am now able to read tabs and produce my own music, while also improving my vocal and instrumental skills. It's unbelievable how much progress I have achieved in such a brief time! Scott is highly recommended to anyone seeking a teacher and, on top of that, he's a lovely guy!
