I am a mother to a son and have a penchant for creating aesthetically pleasing items. The Covid-19 pandemic taught me the importance of forging meaningful connections with others, and crafting is a timeless means to achieve this. I possess over three decades of sewing experience, nearly four decades of crochet proficiency, and have been an instructor for at least 25 years. I wanted to teach my 14-year-old daughter how to sew pockets onto her skirts, but my own sewing skills were limited to basic tasks like hemming and button-sewing. Fortunately, I discovered Katrina through a search for sewing lessons on CrackerJack. The virtual lessons were ideal for us since they were interactive, live, and tailored to my daughter's pace, unlike YouTube tutorials. My daughter also thought Katrina was a warm and wonderful teacher, and she eagerly looks forward to her weekly lessons.
