At the age of seven, I began my violin journey and received classical training in South Korea, Canada, and the US. In 2010, I graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in violin performance and have since provided violin instruction for over 15 years. My experience includes working with children of all levels and ages. As a music therapist, I am able to better evaluate my students' requirements. To enhance the learning experience and promote a sense of enjoyment while playing the violin, I personalize my teaching style to match each student's personality, strengths, weaknesses, and objectives.

Kate is truly amazing! Over the course of three years, she has assisted my teenage son with correcting his posture and enhancing his sound quality. Previously, my son experienced discomfort and soreness as a result of poor posture, but thanks to Kate's expertise, he is now able to derive pleasure from playing the violin. Furthermore, we thoroughly relish listening to him performing with superior sound and musicality.

My 9-year-old daughter has benefited greatly from her guidance! We struggled for years to find the ideal instructor for her; although there are many competent violinists to choose from, it is often difficult to locate someone who effectively instructs.
