Learning Spanish has always been challenging for me in a classroom environment, so I chose to work with a private instructor. Karen Sierra is my current instructor, and I am delighted with our sessions. Her teaching methods incorporate diverse techniques such as reading, speaking, videos, stories, and verb conjugation. After each session, Karen provides me with the learning materials, not as homework, but for my reference and self-study. Given that I am a second-generation Mexican-American raised in an English-speaking environment, my Spanish proficiency is limited to simple, family-oriented phrases. My objective is to gain conversational fluency, and Karen's instruction bolsters my confidence with each class. Additionally, our sessions are held virtually, so I can continue learning from her services even while traveling or relocating. I strongly recommend Karen for any level of Spanish learner, novice or experienced.
