Moss growth on your roof can be detrimental to its lifespan, as it lifts shingles and allows water to get underneath. Moss, algae, lichens, and mildew can also break down the bond on asphalt shingles and granules, ultimately reducing the life of your roof. At our company, we remove moss by hand-brushing the affected areas of the shingles and removing at least 80% of the moss during cleaning. We also apply a liquid form of anti-moss treatment to all surfaces, killing any remaining moss and preventing new growth. We recommend treating your roof at least once every (2) years.

The project comprised three distinct stages: the removal of the old chimney to address leaks and simplify the roof area, the elimination of skylights to prevent further leaks and reduce heat, and the installation of a solar fan. The latter helps cool the house in the increasingly hot summers, drawing air out of the attic.
