I had a project that a gentleman expressed interest in and, upon his acceptance, I cancelled other offers. However, when I requested a contract, we went back and forth for two days and he failed to provide one. His excuse was that contracts are only sent for jobs over $500. I provided him with the event address and checked in with him on the day of, but at 5:58pm (just two minutes before the start), he called me and asked if the event was at an apartment complex. Despite having already given him the address and verbally confirming that the event was on Fort Jackson Military Base, he claimed that his GPS had led him to Charlotte, NC. In the midst of our conversation, I input the same address that I had provided him into my GPS and was directed to the correct location without any issues. Furthermore, the hired button I had clicked disappeared the very next day. I warn others to avoid working with this individual as they may jeopardize the success of events.
