My basic vocal lessons consist of stretching, warm-ups, scales, breath work, and resolving any inhibitions hindering vocal production. Collaborating with students, I tailor beginner repertoire that is both challenging and suitable for their voice. All lessons are recorded and reviewed to chart progress and provide structured practice for the week. I offer music resources, provide vocal exercises, and vocal hygiene tips.
As a guide in the Seattle Theater world, my coaching has landed students roles in acclaimed theaters, Broadway auditions, and film opportunities. I have also helped students get into choirs and teach theory and songwriting techniques.
I work closely with the transgender community to feminize the voice of those transitioning from male to female. I also teach language diction classes and am fluent in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
My mission is to unlock your true voice with extensive technique work and to help guide you towards college-level education if desired. With a classical background in singing, I believe a classical base enriches all styles of music.
