Description:

For 15 years, John Tsumas has served as the Head Coach of the Division 1 Women's Collegiate Tennis team at the University of Utah. He has a remarkable record having defeated four players ranked number one in the nation in U.S.T.A. Boy's 14, 16, and 18 singles. Additionally, John was ranked number nine nationally in the U.S.T.A. Boy's 16 singles and number four in Southern California.

He has also defeated ten N.C.A.A. Division 1 Singles Collegiate Level 1 All-Americans as well as the first, second, third, and ninth nationally ranked collegiate singles players in Division 1. John has been selected to the N.C.A.A. Singles and Doubles Division 1 Championships and has defeated two A.T.P. singles players who reached highs of #48 and #52 in the A.T.P. rankings.

In recognition of his excellent coaching skills, John was named a National Collegiate Division 1 Women's Coach of The Year Finalist and Regional Collegiate Head Women's Coach of The Year.

John finds joy in watching his students improve and accomplish new levels. This experience is both exciting and rewarding for him.
