In 1986, I graduated from the UNM Classical Guitar Program, followed by another graduation from the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood in 1987. Ever since, I have been teaching and performing music. If you choose to take guitar lessons from me, you can learn single string technique, note reading, tablature, guitar licks or guitar solos, songs, fingerstyle playing including Classical Guitar, or any other technique you desire. Rest assured, the lessons will be painless, and you will become a good to great guitarist.
As a reasonably priced performer, I offer music booking for special events. This includes a planning session (for $450.00) to establish the music for your wedding ceremony, as well as a cocktail set, dinner, rehearsal dinner, or wedding reception at an hourly rate. The cost of cocktail sets is $200, while additional sets are $150, with a ceremony already included. The planning session typically involves an in-person meeting at my home, or if you're far away, we can discuss the music over the phone via Skype or Zoom. I also specialize in playing for private parties, corporate functions, fundraisers, and other events. Although I have standard pricing, I'm always willing to work within your budget, so let me know how much you have and we can work from there.
