I have over 29 years of experience in teaching and coaching across various sectors of the industry, including Golf Academies, Golf Schools, Resorts, Public and Private facilities. I was privileged to have received instruction from some of the most acclaimed players and coaches in the game, which equipped me to teach and coach effectively.
During my time at UNC-Chapel Hill (85'-89'), I played collegiate golf and subsequently played professionally worldwide for a few years. With a keen eye for analyzing athletic form in multiple sports and a natural ability to assist others in improving their game, I found myself training my teammates and competitor friends while I was still competing.

Jim's teaching approach is systematic as he makes sure you grasp the basics of how to swing the club consistently, leading to excellent ball contact. He offers fantastic practice pointers and sends daily emails summarizing the lesson and highlighting key points to focus on. Not only is he personable, but also highly professional, making his lessons the best I've ever had! I strongly suggest him!

An adept teacher at the Pelican's Nest Golf Club in Bonita Springs, Florida is Jim Sowerwine, whose main role is providing instruction. I have attended a series of Jim's classes and have acquired fresh techniques and abilities. Jim is capable of identifying what requires alteration or refinement in a prompt fashion. He delivers elucidations in clear language and presents rational methods to enhance one's game. Jim encourages practice and patience and, during lessons, remains attentive and precise while offering constructive feedback. What I found particularly valuable was receiving follow-up emails from Jim summarizing what we covered in the lesson. I keep these notes and review them before each game. In all honesty, my performance has gotten better and I eagerly anticipate continuing my practice with Jim in the future.

My initial session with Jim went great. The evaluations I had perused on CrackerJack turned out to be accurate and precise. He's an exceptional coach, and conversing with him is a breeze. He has an extensive range of suggestions to enhance your golf swing. I strongly suggest booking a session with Jim. I can't think of any justification not to book another lesson with him in the future.
