The highlight of my year so far has been collaborating with Janet. Being someone who had never engaged in strength training before, I was nervous about starting the process. Nonetheless, Janet has completely changed my perspective both on strength training and my personal potential.
Janet is an excellent educator who cultivates an encouraging and non-judgmental environment that is inspiring and empowering. Prior to each session, she outlines a clear agenda that is written on a whiteboard and communicated at the start. This ensures that no time is wasted and that Janet maximizes every session to the fullest extent possible, which I really appreciate. Moreover, she is insightful and regularly acknowledges areas where I excel, as well as emphasizes areas where I need to improve. This allows me to make adjustments and progress with each workout.
What I especially enjoy about working with Janet is how she simplifies both the physical movements and the more theoretical knowledge. She mixes strength training with conversation about nutritional practices and provides practical advice on how to enhance both my physical and dietary health. Janet is incredibly intelligent, and she knows how to explain things in a way that makes sense to me. Since I began working with her, I have felt more confident, both mentally and physically, and have seen noticeable changes in my body— an amazing feeling.
In short, if you're on the lookout for a challenging yet supportive workout experience, and if you're looking for a trainer who sees, hears, and values each of her clients, then Janet is the one for you. She is exceptional at what she does, and I consider myself fortunate to have found her.
