Jersey City/Online Private Voice and Piano Lessons

With more than 15 years of experience as a private voice and piano teacher, performer, and actor based in Jersey City and NYC, I offer a highly individualized approach that focuses on each student's strengths and areas for improvement in a supportive and encouraging environment. As a Director of the International Master’s Academy of Opera and lead singer for the Silver Starlite Orchestra, I am well-versed in both teaching and performing. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music in Music Performance, with a vocal concentration in both degrees. I have performed all over the world in genres ranging from opera and musicals to pop, jazz, and EDM.

Before relocating to NYC three years ago, I taught in London for more than three years, studying with Sheila Barnes at Cambridge University. Prior to my time in London, I had a successful studio in NJ/NYC for eight years, was the sole music teacher at Professional Arts Academy, and worked at Distinguished Concerts International NY, where I organized large choirs and performed with them at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

I have soloed in local halls such as Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, The United Nations (NYC), Walt Whitman Theatre, Miller Outdoor Theatre, among others. I have also acted and sung in two independent feature films, Cardio with Ian Todary Productions, NYC (Amazon Prime 2021) and Balls with Parallaxe Films (London, UK; Zurich, SUI).

As a teacher of voice and piano, I have mentored musicians of varying levels and ages for over 15 years. My students have placed in competitions, been accepted into prestigious music programs like LaGuardia High School of Music, elite choirs, and shows, and have taken exams with ABRSM, NYSSMA, and Trinity. Additionally, I have trained my voice students for auditions for roles on Broadway, the West End, agents, commercials, Master's programs in voice, etc. For singing in different languages, I can coach English, German, French, Italian, and Latin.
