With a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Columbia College Chicago, I had the privilege of studying under the guidance of remarkable mentors such as Marcos Balter, Drew Baker, Ilya Levinson, and Ken Kumpf. For the last 16 years, I have played and written music for various award-winning producers, rock bands, jazz ensembles, and folk ensembles. My expertise also covers the guitar, which I learned through self-study.
My guitar lessons cater to different skill levels and incorporate college-level material to ensure that each student's goals are met. I strike a balance between challenge and reward to maintain a consistent forward momentum in each session. I teach a diverse range of musical genres, including rock, blues, metal, folk, jazz, and classical. Technique is an essential aspect of my teaching, which includes scales, modes, chord inversions, finger-picking, hybrid-picking, tapping, sweeping, string-skipping, speed, and phrasing.
Teaching music and guitar to people of all ages and skill levels is a passion of mine. I customize each lesson plan based on the student's current skill level and goals to create a more personalized and effective approach. Above all, in my teaching, I prioritize fun. I firmly believe that the more enjoyable the learning experience, the more receptive and successful the student will be.

Jeremie's teaching method has made me a huge fan. His expertise is simply amazing, and the online lessons we have are just as top-notch. Each session is something I eagerly await, and I am confident this will continue indefinitely.
Jeremie has been more than just a music instructor to me. He helped me select a new guitar and gave invaluable advice on what to look for in an amp.
