Hello, my name is Jennifer and I have been practicing the art of sewing for over two decades! I'm based in Missouri City and I own a business named Jennty Designs, that specializes in alterations, sewing lessons and custom designs. In my 20s, I pursued a degree in Biology and natural resources, but could not find a fulfilling career that was aligned with my passion. So, in 2021, I decided to start my venture and utilize my natural abilities and interests.
Several women have played a significant role in nurturing my sewing skills, and I aspire to do the same for other women! My tutoring services cater to both young and old students. I provide fundamental lessons in hand as well as machine sewing and tailor my classes to meet individual learning goals. With an extensive knowledge of sewing, I am delighted to impart my expertise to my students. My students appreciate my patient teaching style and my emphasis on exploring the technique behind every skill.
Apart from sewing classes, I provide services such as customization, alterations (including bridal, men's, formal and women's garments), pattern design, drafting, embellishments, hand embroidery, repairs, and technical fashion illustration using CAD sketches.

After replacing a window, my custom roller shades were no longer a perfect fit. Thankfully, Jennifer assisted me in cutting the fabric to the correct size and reattaching it to the roller. Now, my privacy is restored, and my nosy neighbors cannot sneak a peek into my home anymore. Big thanks to Jennifer for the help! 😂
