Jennifer Coyle Interior Design
Although I am now a professional interior designer, that hasn't always been the case. My previous career saw me working as a registered nurse for 17 years, during which time I made an extra effort to ensure my patients' stay in hospital was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I found myself rearranging flowers and cards, and creating a functional space that would support their independence. I guess I had been an interior designer my whole life without even knowing it!
My nursing career shared many similarities with my current one, such as taking care of patients by listening and supporting them, asking lots of questions, encouraging feedback, and problem-solving to meet their needs. As an interior designer, I approach each client with their unique style and needs in mind, ensuring that their space is tailored to them. My style has been described as "comfortable elegance," providing both functionality, style, and warmth. I work closely with my clients, guiding them towards a plan that is all their own by providing choices and inspiration along the way. My services include full concept design and execution.
My connection to architecture and antiques has fueled my passion for sourcing antiques for my clients. I work closely with vendors and craftspeople, ensuring that my clients receive the best possible products and service. Being involved in the local Portland design community has allowed me to continue learning and growing as design evolves. I cannot wait to hear from you and help make your dream design a reality!
