For more than 20 years, I have worked as a professional pianist, singer, bandleader, and party host. Since I was 17, I have been a staple in the Detroit music scene, offering a diverse range of experience and quality. My ensembles cater to a variety of genres, including jazz, swing, blues, soul, Motown, rock, pop, and oldies. Each band is tailored to suit the event and can be of any size.
My services include live band karaoke, solo piano, jazz/swing/traditional ensembles, rock/pop ensembles with female vocals, Motown/soul/blues ensembles and high-end entertainment that mixes and matches any combination of the above. I offer full sound and emcee services, and can adapt to any type of party, from background music for intimate gatherings to full-on entertainment for the life of the party.

In just a matter of minutes, Jarrod Champion promptly responded to my request and arrived on schedule. Upon examining my piano which had been untouched for over two decades, he thoroughly enlightened me on the different choices available to bring it back to its prime. Furthermore, Jarrod generously taught me how to raise the top cover and adjust it for a more amplified sound. After tuning the piano to a half step/note, he astounded me by performing a captivating melody on it. It was a delight to hear the sound of beautiful music from the piano instead of its earlier cacophony. I intend to book another tuning session with Jarrod and I am grateful for his considerate demeanor.
