James Chenevert has been teaching piano to my daughter with great excellence. He consistently exhibits professionalism and responsiveness towards our scheduling needs. Moreover, he offers new songs that engross my daughter and is very positive and encouraging during lessons, which is incredibly motivating. All of this at a very reasonable cost. With a pleasant teaching style, Jim is an excellent instructor. Though as a child, my parents forced me to take piano lessons, I decided to pick it up again as an adult, and I am currently in my 9th week. Jim is exceptionally patient and understanding, especially when weeks get hectic with limited practice time between lessons. He tailors each lesson to my pace and has no unreasonable expectations for my progress on a weekly basis, unlike my childhood experiences. Each lesson is insightful, and the music selections are both enjoyable and recognizable, making me eager to practice at home. With his extensive musical background, Jim's reasonable pricing is a great value.
