To transport a relatively cumbersome outdoor grill weighing approximately 155lbs from my friend's residence in Seattle to my home in Shoreline, I required moving assistance. Despite only dealing with one item, and no problematic obstacles such as stairs or cramped elevators hindering the move, most moving companies charged exorbitant two-hour minimums, truck fees, and other added expenses.
