Our upstairs bedrooms were always chilly and drafty, despite our previous efforts to replace the windows and HVAC system. After inspecting the attic, I realized that we only had about a third of the necessary insulation. Multiple insulation companies came to evaluate the situation, but I ultimately chose Jacob Thomas Insulation because they offered the best quote and didn't try to sell me more than I needed. When I asked about spray foam insulation, Jacob advised against it since we didn't use our attic for anything and it would be an unnecessary expense. He suggested adding blown-in fiberglass insulation to reach the appropriate R-value. I'm thrilled with the results - the temperature in our upstairs bedrooms has greatly improved and I'm confident that our energy costs won't skyrocket this winter. Jacob was professional, responsive, and did excellent work. I highly recommend him for any insulation needs.
