I am Jacléne, also known as Jax, a professional working actor who is excited to share my knowledge and passion with aspiring actors aged 7 and above.
I have been acting since the age of 5, beginning with community theater and continuing through middle and high school. After studying musical theater at Oakland University, I moved to NYC to enhance my career and gain more opportunities. While there, I starred in numerous commercials, independent films, and plays, and studied with the best acting teacher in the city. I also studied improv and worked with numerous casting directors. I currently have two exceptional agents and have made lasting connections in NYC, MI, PA, and Chicago.
My experience has given me insight into casting and what it takes to succeed in the industry. I specifically want to work with young actors because I wish I had professional coaching at a young age to prepare me for a career in theater and film. I want to give young actors the confidence to nail their auditions and prepare them to be the best actors they can be.
I focus on analyzing the script, monologue work, scene study, on-camera work, learning how to audition, college audition prep, how to slate, resumé and headshot help/revision, character work, learning to seek the truth, and building confidence.
I believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all method to acting and promise to work with each actor's unique qualities and personality to help them grow and achieve their own skill set.
Parents or legal guardians should contact me if the actor is under 18. Coaching sessions take place at my home or virtually. Partner work is available, but different fees apply.
