If you are in need of masonry services, we highly recommend J&Y Masonry. Our experience with Jaime was exceptional, as he was highly responsive and commenced the project exactly when promised. He completed the work on time and within our expectations. Specifically, Jaime built a 30" x 36" x 6" retaining wall in our backyard to replace a failing concrete wall that we were planning to build a deck over. Our only issue was the extra $100 charge for wall removal, although we had communicated clearly beforehand that debris removal was to be included. It appears there may have been a slight misunderstanding, so we recommend being thorough and straightforward in communication with Jaime beforehand. Another thing to note is that the wall ended up being made of concrete blocks rather than poured concrete, something that we didn't expect. However, we understand the advantages of concrete block and don't hold it against Jaime. Overall, we would definitely work with him again - he was fantastic!
