At my Wilton, CT home studio, I offer in-person lessons, but for those who prefer remote learning, I am available for Zoom lessons from anywhere. To ensure accessibility for all, I am open to negotiating affordable rates, including sliding scale payments or pay-what-you-can options. As a testament to the quality of my teaching, I offer a complimentary 45-minute consultation lesson for those hesitant to commit.
With a Bachelor's degree in cello performance from The Juilliard School and over eight years of experience guiding students in Fairfield County, CT, I am a seasoned educator. I've cofounded and directed the Roots of Music camps in Wilton, CT, and Congers, NY, and have been a faculty member at "The Cello Camp" in Westport, CT since 2018. I've volunteered as a teaching artist at the Corona Youth Music Project (Núcleo Corona), as well as instructed at the Harmony Program Summer Camp in 2017.
My training might be in classical music, but I have ample experience performing and arranging pop/rock/movie genres, and I welcome the opportunity to explore different music styles with my students. I'm committed to creating custom lesson plans for each student that focus on building a strong technical foundation while fostering a love for music-making. I encourage students to reach out to me outside of lessons to ask questions or share updates on their practice.

Ms. Isabella is an outstanding cellist and instructor with a talent for striking the perfect balance between musical expression and technical prowess. Her teaching style is engaging and enjoyable, even for an 11-year-old student such as myself. Normally, my daughter is quite selective when it comes to her teachers, but she had a wonderful time learning the cello with Isabella.
