Music is a form of communication. We utilize language to express ourselves, learn from others, and collaborate on something that surpasses individual efforts. So, don't hesitate to approach me anytime, and we'll discover something new!
I have expertise in various instruments, styles of music, and I instruct students of all ages and skillsets. Although my primary instruments are guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and drums.
As stated on my business card: "Lessons in Instrument and Music Theory for Beginners to Advanced Learners of All Ages."
I relish everything that my work entails! I get the chance to jam and mentor enthusiastic, gifted, and curious students. Additionally, I pick up something new every time, whether it's a new melody, playing style, or learning technique that I can pass on to others. Plus, I get to relish the hospitality of the students' clients and parents who I work with.

One year ago, we relocated to Homer Glen and I was in pursuit of a skilled piano instructor for my 11-year-old daughter who had mastered classical music. I was hesitant to engage a piano/guitar teacher, unsure if they could meet her advanced level. However, Bob surpassed all expectations by seamlessly advancing her through Chopin, fostering creativity and introducing diverse genres. As an added bonus, he even incorporated guitar lessons to ensure she could play alongside various instruments. Above all, he instilled a love for music beyond just training. As an individual who possesses previous exposure to music and is acquiring knowledge at a later stage than peers (early 20s), I value Bob's aptitude to adapt the lessons in accordance with my proficiency level. He promptly discarded any materials that were too simplistic and refrained from elucidating any musical concepts that I had already mastered. I genuinely admire his passion for music, which elevates the lessons from being tedious to becoming enjoyable instances of playing music. Moreover, he is not hesitant to steer me in the correct direction if he discerns that I am not practicing as efficiently as I should be.

My 11-year-old child is learning guitar from Mr. Bob, while my 9-year-old is taking piano lessons from him. Regardless of their mood swings, Mr. Bob is always friendly and patient with them. He considers my daughter's special needs and teaches her accordingly. I highly recommend him.

Bob was hired to teach my 10-year-old grandson how to play the piano, and we are extremely satisfied with his teaching methods. Thanks to Bob's interactive and engaging approach, my novice grandson is already able to play "duets" with him, with Bob on the guitar, and my grandson on the piano. Bob is not only personable and punctual but also a great communicator. He is flexible and reliable, which makes us highly recommend him.
