The individual pretended to be knowledgeable and capable. I required replacement of my lower sink cabinet due to water damage. He was expected to arrive at 1 pm, but he was nearly two hours late. Without seeking permission, he began cutting lumber on my kitchen floor. He left a gaping hole in the cabinet, and when I questioned him about it, he responded flippantly, stating that I wanted the hole to be present. He then placed a piece of wood over the hole without securing it. When I inquired if he intended to nail it down, he claimed he would glue it in place. The wood did not appropriately fit the space and appeared to be what he had on hand. He glued it down in a few places and put another wooden piece over a broken section on the cabinet's doors, causing them to no longer close properly. Both workers packed up at approximately 8 pm, despite the fact that it took them five hours to create the mess pictured. I spent $70 on wood and screws, and after the job was finished, he requested that I provide nails as well. They used between $10 and $20 in supplies and did not clean up after themselves, leaving sawdust and trash scattered about. I advise against calling them for assistance; instead, utilize a sledgehammer and complete the task yourself, otherwise you'll need to hire someone else to correct their mistakes because you'll have nothing but problems afterward.
