Upon my initial contact, Ozzie's team arrived promptly and efficiently repaired what was necessary within a two-hour timeframe. Though I did not cross-check pricing, the cost was fair. Ozzie's expertise and professionalism shone through as he thoroughly explained the repair process and provided helpful tips to maintain an efficient system. His honesty was evident when he noted that with proper maintenance, the AC unit should last 5-7 years more, whereas other companies have recommended a full unit replacement for minor repairs in the past. Being raised in Miami has given me extensive experience as a homeowner, dealing with sellers of household fixtures and appliances as well as repairs. Out of all my experiences, none have been as satisfying as my interaction with Ice City. On a Sunday night of Presidents Day weekend, my air conditioning unit broke down, but Ozzy was with me within one hour. After a quick diagnosis, it was clear that a new unit was required, although he offered to repair my current unit with no sales pressure. Despite it being a holiday the following business day, Ozzy installed a superior replacement unit at an incredible price. Honestly, if there were more than 5 stars available, Ice City would deserve them all.

After receiving my call, they promptly booked me for maintenance the following day. Surprisingly, they even called to ask if they could arrive early, which was a pleasant change. Their service was exceptional; they flushed the lines, checked the coils and added freon with professional care. The technician took the time to explain the process to me, which was greatly appreciated. I would strongly recommend them for any air-conditioning related problems and would use their services again myself.

Ozzy was easily reachable by phone and I had no trouble communicating with him in English, despite being a foreigner. I have no negative feedback, just two unexpected occurrences. Initially, I anticipated Ozzy to be the one arriving to perform the necessary repairs, but it turns out that his stepbrother, who operates his own AC repair company, showed up instead. Although I didn't communicate as well with him as I did with Ozzy, he was fantastic and made a quick change of the capacitor and connector in my condenser unit with a bit of rewiring in the evening, restoring the AC's cooling system. The cost of the repair was the second surprise, but this could be attributed to my lack of familiarity with AC repair expenses, as this is my first time owning a property. Nevertheless, Ozzy quoted me a price of approximately $535 before I agreed to the job, which I greatly appreciate. I recognize that high-quality work comes at a cost, but the sticker shock still came as a shock. All in all, I would hire Ice City AC again if needed, but I hope to avoid it.
