With over 13 years of teaching, coaching, and mentoring experience, as well as participating in over 100 national and international standardized test sittings, I have gained practical knowledge to create individualized programs that will enhance your test scores and improve your reading, writing, thinking, and quantitative skills.
My background includes achieving a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach qualification from Yale University, working as a graduate teaching assistant and lecturer with the State University of New York - Purchase and Columbia University, and coaching fellow graduate students during the 2008 downturn while outperforming Business school counterparts. I have also lectured at the W.E.B. DuBois Scholars Institute at Princeton University and other colleges within the City University of New York system. Additionally, I co-founded a teen summer entrepreneurship program.
As an experienced exam coach, I have worked with a diverse range of students, including underserved students in the Bronx and over-scheduled students in Bahrain. As an exam enthusiast, I have achieved perfect ACT, SAT, GMAT/V, GMAT/Q, GRE/V, GRE/Q scores, as well as a 178 on the LSAT. My GMAT best is a 790.
Beyond the scores and admission letters, I find joy in witnessing my students gain self-assurance and surpass their own expectations. Finding innovative approaches to help students tackle obstacles is thrilling, and I strive to not only aid my students in conquering the test, but also to appreciate the learning and preparation journey.

We highly recommend Horace! We contracted his services to aid our high school senior in test preparation and college applications.
