Upon arrival, the worker complained about the temperature and requested that we lower the air conditioning, even though it was already running. Their task was to cut and lay some pre-laid carpet, however, they did not have the appropriate carpet tape. Unfortunately, they cut the carpet too short, which resulted in very little progress made during the course of the five hours they were present. Furthermore, they were unable to communicate effectively, which resulted in my husband being called back from his own work to assist. The worker left the job unfinished but still requested payment of $400. The only positive aspect of their work was that they provided their own carpeting tools, which were left behind for us to keep. It is unacceptable to claim expertise in a task if you are unable to complete it efficiently and to charge accordingly. The services of a professional carpet company would have been both quicker and more cost-effective had they been available. As a result of the excessive inconvenience caused, I am requesting a refund of 50% of the charged amount.

It didn't bother him that I was able to spot things from a distance. He took care of the necessary purchases independently, which was convenient for me since all I had to do was foot the bill. As a senior citizen, this was definitely a plus!
